Electric Fan
Its
principle is more in Electro-Magnetism that talks between electricity and
magnet. There is a solenoid inside on it. The wire inside was coiled in
the cylindrical metal and it forms a magnetic field at the center of it that
move the armature which is connected to the blade of the electric fan that make
it rotates. The greater the number of coil of wires the faster it rotates. It
involved Lenz law that states an induced emf always gives rise to a current
whose magnetic field opposes the original change in flux.
Television
Its principle is more about Optics because of the picture tube inside that uses light. In a television picture tube, the light is produce by exciting a phosphor and then re-emits it as visible light. A picture is produced by the incoming signal from the antenna that goes to the controls of an electron gun which fires a jet of electrons. The jet of electrons is fired in lines across screen. The more intense the jet of electrons, the brighter the picture.
